Barbara Brown, Ph.D., is President, Chief Executive Officer and a co-founder of
EduServe International. She has served as the CIO for a variety of colleges and
universities and led numerous consulting engagements. As an a ACE Fellow, Barbara
draws upon her vast experience as an educator and administrator in all arenas of higher
education.
Her knowledge of technology and her passion for higher education serve her clients well
as she helps them develop custom plans and find cost effective and efficient solutions to
their technology and organizational issues.

John Slack, Vice
President and Chief Operating Officer. John Slack is Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and a co-founder of EduServe.
John has held several executive level positions in the Fortune 50 community prior to
joining the executive team of a leading software and services company serving higher
education. Since 1992, John has worked with colleges and universities to transform their
operations and services to students through the efficient use of technology. As COO,
John directs operations while making his services available to clients.
